PREPARATION
Groups are made up. The number of participants in each group do not matter.
OBJECTIVES OF THE ACTIVITY
To devise a scene where something known becomes unknown.
DESCRIPTION
Each group is given the task to devise a scene which begins with
something known or familiar to the audience. This known thing is
then developed into something unknown or unfamiliar. For example,
the relationship between two friends could change once a secret is
revealed. Scenes should be no longer than five minutes.
REFLECTION
Evaluation does not need to be too intense for this activity. The
facilitator should begin a discussion about the devising process and
how each group handled the task.
